When you dynoed at Full Blown, what was your A/F ratio? I am thinking about doing this next and I need some input.

In vtec, the a/f was 12.8-13.0
Before vtec, my a/f was mainly around 12.5 (darn cai)
you should dyno and let us know. Im sure the rest of us and vibrant would much appreciate it.

I have not redynoed, but I installed a wideband O2 the week after that dyno and the dyno sniffers were off my afrs are like 12.9 up top under wot. The dyno I used just needs to replace their O2 sensor.

man, you're making a good amount of power for what you've gotten done. Are you one of those folks w/ factory freaks? i dont remember, there were some other dudes making a lot stock. anyhow, the sniffer (for the a/f readings) may be off which is why its showing the a/f to be rich.

Thanks. I should probably do a dyno run on the car as it is and then see what happens with the cam swap. I am currently working on an X/K intake that will use cowl induction to introduce ram air into the intake. Hopefully, I can pick up a few more ponies along the way.

BTW, John Vang at Hopkins Honda says, "Hi"!

IDK, i could have one. Who knows. Dynos dont mean too much to me. how a car performs on the track does. I just wanted a baseline is all.

when i dynoed my car, it made power all the way to the rev limit. that was prior to the hondata reflash, i'm going some time next week to see after the reflash how the power band looks.

In what way would he blow his engine? What, in your mind, constitutes a blown engine?

Silverspoon you should grab a wideband O2 is you don't have one and see where you are. I have a feeling you should be pretty OK since you have the stock MAF housing...

I'm definitely in for more info.
I was under the impression that K series engines are equipped with one stock.

The dyno could have been a little off since it was just recalibrated, the AFRS were off, I installed a wideband
after I got the dyno done because they made me nervous and the dyno sniffer was running leaner than it really was.

Here is a link to my dyno

Dyno run, help needed!

Do you have the exact same modifications as he does? Sometimes the power of cams are unlocked when complimented by other parts,

its always nice to see new ideas come about as far as intakes. But, yeah, you should do a before and after dyno for the tsx cams. i believe nbilyue has been the only one other than xfactorwrx w/ dynos. w/ more dynos, we all can make a more concise opionion on aftermarket parts.

They are, but he's talking about an additional one for monitoring purposes only. a wideband AFR gauge for the cabin.

CLARIFICATIONS:

Doug said... and it only makes sense... because the longer stroke in the K24... 99mm... it gets too much side to side movement.. the oil pumps on those cars can not lubricate the crank over probally 8000 rpm.. If you rev a K24 STOCK BOTTEM END over the recommended 7600 redline by Hondata, you are asking for trouble.

Camshafts can be spun to 1000000000000 rpms.. Cams limitations are based on there actual designs.. amount of lift and duration.

06+ TSX CAMS Are larger then JDM TYPE R CAMS intake and exhaust on both lobes.

Dyno will be up after the weekend Possibly some time slips.

And NBILYUE, I am running CRV tubing and UNMODIFIED MAF, 63mm exhaust, and BCRH, At the same time as the cams, I also installed my IMG and did a TB/Coolant BYPASS.

And I have a wideband coming, its on order with the Emanage Ultimate and Vmanage.
