Weird dyno numbers

my numbers seem low having a CAI and exhaust. I've seen people running way more whp than this bone stock. I dont know what to make of it. ignore the first numbers on it. they carried over from the run before me

ok link is from photobucket. if it doesnt work then dont know what to think. Can anyone figure out why an FG2 would read such low numbers with intake/exhaust?

Try another dyno. Those are pretty low for SI numbers. You should get around ~140wtq ~185whp.

You removed your "i-vtec" stickers...

What brand of dyno was it? Mustang dynos read lower than normal.
How many miles on it? Higher mileage cars tend to dyno higher
All your fluids good?
Everything installed correctly?

There could be tons of factors.

Or your car is just slow from the factory. Mine feels slow too though...

Looks like you did a 3rd gear pull. Do it on 4th instead.

I've heard the same thing about our cars. 4th gear pulls are best. I haven't tested that theory tho, but I've seen it mentioned several times 'round here.
It looks to be SAE corrected. So just try a 4th gear pull next time. You also may have them try launching at different RPM's.
Import Tuner just dyno'd an FA5 and put down 171whp SAE and launched at 2500rpm. I don't know if they did 3rd or 4th gear pulls tho.

I had tested that thing of 3rd & 4th gear run and the difference isn't very big.

Look here this run of 3rd vs 4th gear, stock SI.

CanyonDriver don't worry I'm pretty sure that if you take it to another dyno shop you will have much better numbers. That is probably due to the fact that many dyno owners don't know how to correctly configure one. They need a lot of tweaking in order to make them work correctly.

to the OP, what mods do you have? and are both dyno readings yours? those numbers seem like reflash and no reflash, but are very low imo.

The first numbers arent mine. Theyre from the person who went before me. I'd assume the guy who owns the dyno set it up properly. He's been in the game a looooong time and actually builds the cars for the F&F movies(he hates the movies but gets paid bank for building the cars). I'll look into what kind of dyno it is though, and see if other people have low readings with them.

Engine mods:
Injen CAI
TB Bypass
Exhaust made from an exhaust shop
Mobil 1 synthetic
RP Synchromax

I just had a 10K mile service the other day, so all my fluids are 100%. When I can get the money i'll see if I can get another pull somewhere else. I'm not freaking out too bad though. I'm more of a handling junkie, so power is a lesser concern to me.

i payed $90 at Integrated Performance/Machine Tune in Gardena. Dyno prices are skyrocketing all over LA county recently. I know both owners though so i'm sure he'd hook it up really nice if a group went.
