any word on the progress of the angled defouler project from sctuned?

tempted to go to a plumbing shop and make my own.

They will be released next friday. Batch of will be ready to ship. So far were at 218 miles with no cell. Want to get to about 500 first.

they are very easy to make!!!

go to home depot and get a 3/8 90 degree street pipe... then take it to a muffler shop and they have the peice to weld on... they use this piece to make bung holes...then after that just go buy the nonfoulers and your done...10 bucks tops!!!! very very easy!

So you're saying that a CEL can come on up to 500 miles after installing a race header? How? Wouldn't it come on within like 50 to 75 miles if it wasn't working? I fix cars for a living and I've seen codes come up instantly or no more than 75 miles after resetting the ECU.

You couldn't really guarantee no CEL anyway. The defouler trick doesn't always work every car. I haven't had a problem yet but that doesn't mean I won't have one in the future.
