why are they not interchangeable

The midpipes are different. The Si has their cat underneath the car, which effectively shortens the midpipe, whereas the R18 has the cat placed near the engine. Theoretically, you could just get a muffler shop to weld on the extra length of pipe and it should work.

i think a skunk 2 for the ex would be cool
maybe 55mm or whatever it would need to be to maximize flow
im not sure
but i love how the skunk sounds and looks
