So you're saying that the cooling plates on a USDM FA5 would be tha same as the JDM FD2. That's sweet. Now I can start the search again.

don't quote me on that but i believe so... ask sickyute about that one...

now that i think of it... i think the part by the grill is different... it was a while ago... memory isn't so good on the subject b/c i have a coupe...

I would check w/ someone that knows for sure b/c EZCivicTypeR's conversion wasn't a perfect fit on different parts. Example:the splashguard on the bottom doesn't meet up.

I didn't even think about asking him. I searched for so long and came up empty that I just gave up on the idea of a CF cooling plate. But if he had to get a new coolong plate to fit the conversion then the JDM one won't fit. but if his stock one fits with the conversion. I'm all set.

you're right... i remember he bought one b/c the stock one didn't fit...

the grill on the JDM/CDM sticks out further from the radiator support than the USDM... sorry my b

He also needs a jdm crash bar b/c it won't work with the US one.
