I think his car would throw a CEL alot sooner than in a week if it was his race header. The CEL would appear within about 30 to 50 miles or even sooner without a defouler if he is running the DCRH. But if he has a defouler it could be his header or his intake. Because with the intake it might take a week or so for it to appear. And almost every person with a defouler on their race header has had no problems with CEL's.

I got one and I let it idle plenty of time, install was flawless, cleaned the maf, reset codes, they still came back. Got rid of it.
