What are you talking about? Scoop sticking out of the windshield cowl? If you read the first post, I was adamant that it was not the way to go. You have missed the science behind cowl induction as well. You are really late to the party man.

BTW, I finished my cowl induction. It performs really well and you can't even see it. Cowl Induction is done, finished, finis, Woot Woot!

Your comment was kind of pointless. Messing things up? Are you talking about you or me? Go ahead and spend $1200 if you got money to burn. I seriously doubt that you will make any more performance than what I have done.

Prolly less power due to the fact that the Groupe-M is not really using cowl induction to force air into it, its using a scoop (pointed the wrong way for cowl induction) in a open air place that gives less forced air into it then cowl induction would.

Are you talking about the Gruppe M or the M&M? I have a thread you can look at with links to different manufacturers: Another Mother thread, ultimate intake discussion

i wouldnt quite call something that actually is scientifically proven (cowl induction), coupled with thought and design to create an adaptation of what has been used on muscle cars for 20+ years 'ghetto'.

Why are you even posting here? Please, go spend your money, and worry about if you're going to be nominated for ROTM.

What a douche.

Haven't been in here for a while but, don't you have to DIY the MAF housing into the Groupe M? Or did they come out with a USDM version that has previsions for the MAF sensor?

now that you mention it, I'm pretty sure this is the case.

regarding the Gruppe-M intake

I cut the MAF housing off the stock airbox on the US Si..

so, if you were trying to suggest that Bill's setup was somehow inferior by implying that you would go with a Gruppe-M instead of his "Ghetto rig," perhaps you should have done some further reading. the Gruppe-M system requires a "ghetto rig" to even work with the USDM civic. it's not a direct bolt on. In fact, you have to do MORE rearrangement to make it fit. Including the brake reservoir. I'd rather make my own intake system.

I'm behind Nitrous' ram air system. this sucker (pun intended) works. Just because something is fabricated at home does not necessarily make it inferior to a 1,300 dollar system.
