for those who have tried to get a refund - will you please contact paypal, and you can provide this thread/link to report the issue on the ongoing refund denials. If you are past your time deadline for a refund or don't want to wait - please contact your credit card company about the issue.

If you DID use a credit card to purchase your intake through Paypal, you can very easily contact the credit card company and report a fraudulent charge, they have the ability to immediately reverse the transaction. Much easier than disputing through Paypal, which can be a nightmare.

FYI: I used my bank credit card/debit card on Paypal to pay. I just called my bank and they told me that I can file a dispute but since paypal has my checking and routing number on file that there is an 85% chance that paypal will try to get their money back by using the bank account info they have on file (even if you delete your bank account) and just deduct the $300 from there. They suggest that if I do go through with the dispute that I change my bank account number to protect myself from this. They also said that it is not a for sure thing that I'd even get my money back. So paypal wont help me, and my bank may or may not even be able to help me, and X won't give me an intake. So I guess I'm SOL

boosted - don't think that way. Start with paypal - let me know results in this thread. If paypal doesn't give you a refund - then post that for me.

Um, I don't get that part. Why would paypal try to get your money back from your back acct? Shouldn't they be getting it from X instead which has our money????

So I should go through w/ paypal first? How long do they usually take..?? I am filing a claim tmrw

paypal sends the claim to the other party - they have to respond to the dispute in paypal.

Buyer Complaint Process - PayPal

Quote:
PayPal works hard to make transactions within our community safe.

If you are unable to resolve a dispute with a seller, you may file a claim that a PayPal investigating agent will review. Before you file a claim:

* Check the Help Center. You often can get quick answers to your questions. In fact, you may find filing a claim is not necessary

* Make sure PayPal was used to pay for the item(s) in dispute

* Check the date! All claims must be filed within 45 days of the transaction or the claim will be denied

* Be ready to provide agents as much relevant information as possible. Buyers who don't respond when asked will have their claims cancelled. Sellers who don't respond will default the claim, which automatically refunds the buyer
In bold is why the time matters. I've asked those who have passed this date to contact their cc

Webby: My problem is I paid on Nov 11th through paypal (I always thought it was Nov 12th). I filed a dispute but since I am past the 45 days, they said they cannot open a dispute case for me. All they did was send X a message on Paypal with why I was not satified with the transaction.

Can we all get together and file some kind of law suite against him? This is of course once we all decided together that we will for sure not get our intakes or our money back. If no law suite, what is the next step, if any?

leonphelpss11: When you go through your credit card to get the money back, the credit card company will take the money away from Paypal, not X. So Paypal gets upset because they did nothing wrong and will try to recover their loss by going to your bank account since you pretty much undermined paypal by going through your credit card company. I hope that makes sense.

I have some questions of my own:

1 Are these even being made/shipped anymore?
2 If so, can you post a waiting list with estimated delivery time?
3 Did i just get *&%#'d?
