mustang DBW and honda DBW

are they roughly the same kind of thing?

reason i ask is a coworker of mine works at a performance shop and he says hes been tuning the new mustangs with DBW. he said it was a bitch to get thru it but he's been doing them for awhile now. he said he's never done a honda tho so im curious if the two are closely related?

I asked him to look into our cars to see if maybe they can do something.

Please do. Maybe he can apply his expertise to the Si's.

It's not just the Si(s). I have a 2008 LX and the "lag" in this DBW crap is depressing.

ask and see what he can do... the worse that can happen is that he comes up with nothing..

My understanding of the "Lag" is that it was purposefully put in so that the Civics could meet stricter emissions standards. I'd imagine that the Mustang doesn't have our lag.
