F EM..... I called OPAK... Dude they are as cool as can be... if you are serious and you want something they can really get it for you.. Anything Spoon Sports... Is availible within a reasonable amount of time and they will not BS you. They are the North American Importer of all Spoon Sports Stuff... They import alot of other stuff too, I found out they actually were the middle man for MotoRex.... Getting all those Skylines to the US...

Anyways... Opak Racing - Spoon Sports Authorized Exclusive Importer.. for all your Spoon Sports Needs.. they wont take your money and not answer emails or be able to tell you when your stuff is coming.. these are the real deal guys.

I have NEVER been given the runaround. Nor the 2-3 other people i recommended to him. I have gotten every single answer i needed from him as soon as he can, and that was very fast. And sometimes worked his schedule around my time.

Spoon isnt about Products as much as the Information they offer to the racing community. They run low 13s in stripped Stock Civic R's. Obviously with much time and tuning they could make them faster in 1/4 miles but thats not what Spoon does. Spoon Builds legit race cars using HONDA PARTS. Taking time and money prepping the engine to put out the most power the engine was supposed to make from the factory.

I have long been interested in learning to race, and have not been able to make connections with local people. Edmun over at Opak, has helped me make connections and can offer me connections with the Japanese market.

I'll lay out all the details and time frames here for you again, so everyone has the story, and all the facts, which youve already heard on AIM over the past 2 days, but you choose to believe what you want to serve your own agenda of wanting you parts RIGHT NOW, and thats it.

TH Motorsports inquires to purchase spoon calipers from us but would like an ETA before orderinf, I intern call Opak racing, our normal supplier but am told " no ETA, we dont know when we will get any more, none are on order right now" (Mark) I email a freinds business in Japan to see if he can get me a set, or at least if they arent in stock in Japan, an ETA. He emails back the 29th, and i quote Eddie that they will have stock in Japan in Feb. and to quote his customer 3 mos timeframe. Eddie Issues a PO to me on Dec 3, 2007

Yesterday i get IM'ed from the customer directly, after he had contacted eddie, and i guess told them they are not in yet. Eddie had informed him they were ordered from me. The customer insisted that i refund his order, because another vendor got theirs in first, so i must have been lying to him. Demanded i produce internal documents to prove i ordered them. I asked him to please channel anything he needed to say or questions about his purchase through TH Motorsports, as he is the dealer he made the purchase with, not GT Motoring.

Customer refused to do so, all the while insisting on a refund and that i am lying to him. He takes it upon himself to email spoon japan, and Opak, whom we generally purchase from 99% of the time except in rare instances where there is no timeframe given. Opak replies that they will get an airshipment in Next week and will have some stock. Thats actually to my surprise, as i asked Edmun, the pres, when he expects any in for an s2000 ( same fitment as civic ) and i was quoted for end of March when i asked last week for a customer. The customer emails me this info this morning, and says im a liar, and demands a refund because opak didnt have an order from me for the calipers. They didnt, because they werent ordered from them, but my friends business out of Japan.

And after seeing edmuns reply to him, that they will get an air shipment next week, that fits RIGHT into my quoted time window of Spoon Japans stock... FEB 2008. Its Feb 2008 now, and spoon japan has some in stock looks like, and is sending them by air. Falls RIGHT into my quoted original ETA. Irony or FACT.....

Regardless, i decided last night on the way home from work that i would refund TH Motorsports because i wasnt happy with being tossed into this situation, and having to do all their customer service work for no reason, as i was within the quoted window given at time of purchase. This customer refuses to listen to anything i say, so everytime i present any info on anything, its in one ear and out the other. bottom line, you want your stuff now, and dont care how much complaining or information you have to twist or configure to get things to read the way you want. TH motorsports is being refunded monday, IF they choose to refund you from there, thats up to you and them.

This is all i have to say on the matter, and have presented all the facts and timelines. This will be my last post in this thread. The customer can chime in all he wants, i have all my documentation and internal emails to back up everything in my story. I offered to produce an invoice of the order for your calipers, with our source and any private information whited out even, nad you werent willing to even give me a day to get that to you. There is obviously no convincing you, so I'm just constantly wasting my breathe. If you have any more questions regading your refund, contact TH Motorsports, the vendor you made the purchase with.

I will always continue ordering from Greg at GT Motorsports. I have never been lied to by him, if I ask him for a part and he has it he'll tell me 2-3 days. If he does not he'll let me know how long or roughly how long it takes.

This is the market of who has the best and if you don't understand that getting rare parts imported here to the US is almost like smuggling shit in. You need to pay for shit first to get things imported here from japan,

any business will not make an order without funds from the customer. If Honda of Japan is back ordered on parts then wait you retard. I hate seeing lil rich bitches talk shit about people who have been around long before you were just a nut stain in your momma's drawers.

Time Line... Inquiry was on from TH motorsports by cell phone on the 21st. I paid on the 23rd.

I knew, Eddie, was dealing with Greg, cause I told him I had emailed Greg several times, with no response. Eddie told me how he being in Chicago is an associate of Gregs and has his cell and can contact him directly. So i let him deal with him. Whether mis-communication or not, I was told 3 weeks. Which was cool.. 3 weeks later i questioned Eddie, where he got back to me and told me he talked to Greg, and Greg said it would be Longer, that they were not in stock in Japan, and it would be 3 weeks to ship, not 3 weeks to recieve. OK COOL, I got some kind of answer, though im not a person who sits back and takes answers with no real answer as a reasonable response. I sought out another way to contact Greg to find out whats up. I found a Post he made on here and Private messaged him on what I think was the 21st of January. 2 exact months after i made the inquiry. I have the email response, He stated it would be about another month cause it takes about 2 months to get this from Japan. Ok.. so here we are.. about another month later. Mind you I am still waiting on Buddy Club as well for some parts since the same time, ALL PAID IN FULL. SO yea, a month later now.. (approx.) I question Eddie to contact Greg, because he doesnt answer emails regularly, and hes like "hes online, Ill ask him". He comes back to me within mins and saids its ATLEAST another month with no ETA, SAME BS as the last 2 times I asked. So getting a retorical answer, and reading other peoples complaints, I asked Eddie to give me his AIM name. Where I contacted Greg and talked to him, I asked him If he knew when it was coming, If he infact did place an order for me or if he just took my money?? I asked him to Produce a purchase order from his distributor that showed he actually ordered the product. Mind you I saw a special for the same calipers on AJ Racings website, and I called up and talked to them there, where they told me they had recieved 30 sets AFTER they made there order which was after the date Greg states of Dec. 10th. So I then came to him and asked if he INFACT did pay for my calipers or he was BSing me???? I asked for a refund if he did not make payment yet he told me yes he did. Well as far as im concerned had working in exporting Magazines to other coutries by air and frieght, I know Approx times from China and Japan, I know Customs BS, and I also understand the fact that another company placed there order that they told me they paid UP FRONT FOR before he did when they placed there order after him.

In end we left it at the end of the day that I was going to give him the weekend to produce a copy of his order showing he paid already for the product. And I was not going to let him doctor some paper and show me some bs, I spent about 2 hours emailing spoon sources and talked to people til I realized i should just call Opak. I got Edmun on the phone, Edmun's title is President of Spoon Sports US, he assured me that Greg has made 2 inquiries with him and no he did not pay them for anything. He also told me that 10 more sets are coming NEXT WEEK BY AIR, and I could have a set NO PROBLEM....

Bottem line is 2 months became 3, and 3 months was about to become 4+, and no one is going to take my money and just keep leading me to BULLSHIT, when I can do a little research and find out he took a cheap way out to maybe save a penny not paying OPAK for the importing, and infact never be able to get my product. 3 months as far as im concerned is 5 days away, and If its not being processed to be shipped as we speak, he has not met his "quoted ETA", therefore he is and is due to give me a refund.

Like I told him, if he would had said from the begining theres no plans for shipping in the near future, I would have called other places to find out whose been confirmed a shipment, He was only out to make a few dollars, and with all the bad publicity he gets in forums, let other companies broker his deals for possibly a small cut, and he can just toss the blame on them and attempt to rebuild his reputation.


I believe Greg tries hard, I also believe GT Motoring is a Basement run company, run SOLELY by Greg. I believe Greg has a job that actually makes him money, and this is his side business. I do not think he put enough time into this that he should at all be anything but a silient distributor to end dealers. Its just the Presidge that comes along with some of these products that he wishes to be associated with. And his lack of time and dedication towards the products and the time needed for GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, that he actually makes some of these products UNATTAINABLE. With good Connections and making friends, you will learn that middle men like Greg are out to just make a penny, making people believe that these parts are not available.

I am happy i am supposibly recieving my money back, and I can purchase them with garenteed Date of Delivery. I have a Phone number where as i can reach Edmun at OPAK for any JDM part I need or Questions about Cars in general.

I would much rather pay 2 times for something with good quick honest service then pay less and deal with peoples BS. $1550 shipped for the Calipers, I do not believe is any great deal besides the fact that I dont believe that Eddie Charged me anything more then maybe 50 dollars to Broker the deal between me and Greg. (due to the fact he does not answer emails)

In the end I do not change how i feel about GT Motoring, but maybe I do change my opinion about Greg a little, hes just a middle man.. what can he really do..
