The power and sound were sweet to have, but I was moving to texas soon and got freaked out about the cops in texas being dicks (which they are) and I got rid of it. I went back to stock, and then after a while, I didn't like stock and wanted the gains again, so I got the comptech, and then later, put the dcrh on. That next day, I put the stock exhaust on again b/c of the sound. However, now I am finding out that the dcrh will cause premature wear on the stock exhaust so, I'm trying to find something that's not too loud and looks somewhat stock and is 2.5" so that later on down the line when I have to get a different header, I can go with the vibrant or buddy club again.

False info. Get the one that fits your budget. If you have an exhaust in mind that's smaller than 2.5", I definitely would just go with the dcrh b/c if you don't, you'll have a bottleneck in the exhaust system. The dcrh makes just as much power as the bc w/o f/i.

It's not a bad idea, b/c the pipe gets larger coming off of the header rather than getting smaller after the header. It would be just fine. People say they bolt up just fine, but I don't have the first hand experience with those two. One of the guys at the San Antonio dyno this last weekend had that setup btw.

if you break that down: stock exhuast is plus one more hp than sri and the skunk2 70 the loudest and most powerful exhaust alive. i think that i am content with my decision. next would just be a reflash and then a trip to the dyno for the results. |

the only regrets i have were not getting the bcrh.. but the skunk 2 is absolutely wonderful. If you want something thats going to make you be heard the skunk 2 is where its at lol. deep in the low rpms and it sounds like a sport bike in the upper rpms. friend of mine has a ducati and he tells me whenever im coming down the road he thinks a few sport bikes are coming so he looks up only to see its my honda lol.

If you want the performance of a cat-back but a more subdued sound, you can always buy one, then weld in an additional perforated core resonator, or better yet, have flanges put on the removed straight section, as well as flanges on the resonator so you can interchange them as your volume needs require without performance restrictions. The "silencers" used by exhaust manufacturers that are stuck or fitted onto the tip are highly restrictive. |

I know skunk2 70mm is liked by a lot. But have you taken any consideration into the Invidia N1 cat back? Its cheaper, same piping as the skunk2 in fact on the skunk2 pipes it says 'Invidia' on the resonator. And imho it sounds so much better. Not as obnoxious. Just my .02c
