I believe on the RSX the heatshield must be notched for it to fit.
I have these..

made by OMNI POWER. How many people need them? i can get a pretty good price.

You guys at Robear are top notch. It would be great if you could provide defoulers that are angled, because there is a clearance issue when using a straight defouler. When the O2 Sensor is screwed in, the wires hit the heat shield, which can cause rattling.

I did find these. But looks like it has to be welded on to your existing piping.

They would probably be $25 shipped, maybe a bit cheaper.

I wonder if you take that piece to a machinist and have threads put on the outside so that it could screw into the 2nd 02 sensor bung?

I don't know about the angled ones, but if you must buy straight ones b/c you can't find the resources to make one yourself, you could try calling ajracing. Their t1r race header comes with one, maybe they could just get you the defouler.

Here's an angled one, but it has to be welded on. Club RSX.com: Vibrant "J" Style O2 Sensor Fitting

Already posted, but thanks for the pic. It's a good alternative.

It seems the need may be out there that I may have to start making the 90 degree angled section. I have to make one for a fellow FL 8th Civic member that I will be selling to him on Sunday @ the meet.

You shouldn't say anything about this till you get more made. Don't wanna get swamped with orders if everyone ended up wanting one.

It would seem that any machinist could whip these bad boys out in no time. I would be hesistant to offer anything until I could actually determine the demand that is out there. I'd produce a batch first before promising anything.

That is true but all I have to do is go to my local Ace Hardware to get all the 90's I need. I won't take any money before making them first so that I can ship out quickly.

Do you have a set of taps to make both the inside and outside threads? If so, you could probably make quite a few to meet the demand. You just may be the hero on this forum if you can help everyone out with defoulers.

He only has to modify the female end.

Guys, please post up any leads you have. The only one I have found on this forum is KingMotorsports and theirs is straight, not angled. Angled is preferable so that the O2 sensor does not hit the heat shield.
sir, how much did you pay for the angled defouler?

Can you get 90 degree tubing that has one end with the correct threads on the male end? If so, then it would be a piece of cake to tap the same thread pitch on the female end.

Yes, however I'll let 02civicsi tell you since it's his project. That's why I didn't make them.

That's all I do with the 90 that I use for this.

Don't mind the small OEM exhaust because that was replaced today with the 70mm Skunk2.
