Sound is great. Mine sounds amazing with my magna flow. I was shocked when i heard the sound clips of that megan, god was that clip ricey. Mine by no means i ricey or raspy. The sound of just the magna flow by itself was deapend and sound increased some but not much. I love the sound. I had my brother drive off while i stood behind, along with many drive by..etc etc. and it sounded great.
The manifold does make some noise as you can hear it "hissing" as the air rushes out. I kinda like the sound.
TSA ftw

i found it online for like $400 and that seems like kind of a lot

how much of a difference could you feel?

" TOP SPEED AUTO ACCESSORIES, INC.

Apparently if you talk to them you can get it for like 275$."

And yes, I just quoted myself.

I just want to know how you can really have a "header" when essentialy all the runners are part of the head casting itself.....

all i can say is..... im switching back to the stock manifold. im tired of the sound. the power wasnt really that much of a difference. nothing real noticeable. plus im tired of the smell of unburnt fuel from the cel eliminator.

i just put a race header on my fa5 and there is a leak were the header and the downpipe conect. if you look at you OEM manifold there is a neck were the donut sits. the header does not have the proper neck therefor the downpipe does not fir properlt. WTF

The smell isn't from the CEL eliminator, it's because you running without a cat. Put an aftermarket one on there and no more smell... That and the CEL eliminator does not burn left over fuel... It's only there to measure a difference between the exhaust gases before and after the cat to make sure the cat is doing its job. If you do have cat on then there is probably a leak somwhere before it.

the cel tricks the computer, making a difference in the air/fuel too which is making it the gassy smell. and i never said it was suppose to burn left over fuel.

btw, its off now if someone wants it.

The CEL is a check engine light. The CEL eliminator is a piece of metal that keeps the sensor out of the direct path of the exhaust gases thus "tricking" the ECU to receive proper readings. And from what you had typed you were saying that the CEL eliminator was burning left over fuel even though you may have meant or been thinking something else.

No. Why do people try to explain things they don't understand?

Exclamation

ok
i have the WR header... and damn its too loud... and more with my TiC catback
i had to put a resonator on the catback to reduce the sound
other than that its great and the car feels very good
a friend haves the TS header... and well first i think it haves a hi-flow cat on it... but it doesnt
it just have the shape but its a race header as the WR...
and look what happend to his header

we dont really know why does this happend...
my WR downpipe cracks too but the downpipe! not the header!
i think that its cus we need a flexible extension in the catback
what do you think?
