Ingalls Engine Torque Damper?

Can someone please explain the advantages of this? I honestly have no understanding of what it is or how it helps the car in any way. For such a cheap mod I would like to know more about it. Thanks!

Its to help with Wheel hop. It pretty much braces the motor to the frame better than the stock motor mount. You do get some vibration from it thought, but its adjustable which is nice. If you want better launches and little to no wheel hop this will do the trick. Just ordered mine, I'll have a review very soon.

I cant wait to get my ^^^ for DD do you leave yours on the softest setting?? how hard is it to adjust it.

its on the hardest setting. you get used to it and its not that bad of vibrations. the worst vibration is when you start the car. the wife never noticed the increase in vibrations which says a lot.

I bought it 2 months ago, and still didn't have the chance to install it..
The bolts are too tight

o and its easy to change the settings. a minute or two and your done.

i did it without power tools. go to the gym. in 2 months of going to the gym you could have been able to take it off now. or make friends with someone that has power tools.

guys newb question, whats the basic defference between the toorque damper and the ingalls power stick?...and which one would you guys recomend getting?

i like the tq damper. the stick i heard does not do as much for you but still a difference. dont quote me tho.

the stick replaces the stock dogbone.

I didn't use any power tools for mine. Get a wrench with a 10" handle and get the bolts off. I am skinny as hell and did it just fine with a shorty wrench.

And where did you read 55 ft/lbs? I was looking for the stock torque figures, but never found them. I put it at 35 or 40.

Well thats nice to know. Luckily my 08 coupe doesnt have any problems with 3rd at all

got the nuetral safety switch so it wont allow it to start if its accidently left in gear.
