right now i dont have a header cause i am in the same boat as you. i'm juss waiting for long term quality and already the dc sports header is showing bad results. i've seen quite a few people unhappy with the dc sports header going to shit over time. but many people have had good reviews with the buddy club and now vibrant, and vibrant even has a header with a high flow cat so you can stay legal, which is always a plus but i'm sure you'll get a lot of mixed reviews asking everyone here on the 8th...

changing your cat at all is illegal technically.

For the price, you cant go wrong with the DCRH. Personally, I like the Vibrant Catted because 1, has a cat and 2 it has made really good gains even with the catalytic.

DC until we have tuning, otherwise everything from the dc to the ssr is going to be within 5-7hp of eachother.

I have the DCRH and it works fine for me. With the money I saved instead of getting a BCRH I got the Hondata Reflash.

some of the things i considered when picking my header:

1. all of them are illegal and all hurt the environment more than stock

2. the looks and shine wont matter when its mounted to the rear of the engine

3. do you really want to spend nearly $800, not including the install?...if you have any concept of money than you'll realize that that same amount will buy you a cheaper header plus a ps3 and a couple games.

4. is the high end header even really worth it gain wise when:
a) no real tuning software is available
b) you have no desire to fully cam and build the engine

i chose the dcrh for these reasons, i actually got it only 3 months used as the guy fell for the bcrh craze. my car pulls much harder now that i installed it. NO DYNO IS THE SAME(just so you know when u look up #s). as the guy who sold it told me, exact words---"my buddy club pulls much harder in mid range, which is better for daily driving, but the dc...pulls better high end(which is what u use when u floor it shifting through the gears). if u search u will see that is the general consensus among the site.

header is just one part of many and unless u got money to blow or serious plans, i dont reccommend spending near $1000 on the RH part of the I/RH/E etc. equation.

I have the Vibrant header with the cat. Quality is excellent, and it was really important to me to remain legal by retaining the cat. I can't afford the fine for running catless. There are TONS of header threads though. Just hit the search icon.
