anybody have or heard good things about RANDOM TECHNOLOGY HIGH FLOW CAT CONVERTER?

does the Random Technology Cat. Converter gain as much hp (somewhere around 10-12 whp) as they say they do? anybody have it? stories? complaints?

I seriously doubt 12 HP, but it made a very noticeable difference over my stock cat.

There is a thread somewhere that i read that says that removing the cat and installing a test pipe gave 1 hp. So i dont think this would be much better than that. I'm pretty sure you wont gain much besides some throttle response and maybe a little more midrange. But I could be wrong.

i had it before i just decided to get a header, it was nice but not near as much gains as a header

Pardon the shameless plug/thread jack, but to the OP: If you'd like to try it out and save a little money, I will be selling mine soon.

My butt felt a difference and it definitely sounds much cooler with it on. Unfortunately Human butts > Dynos.
