there's only 1 header man and there's also tons of info about this already. that's what the search function is for.

You should get the Vibrant rh w/hfc. MUCH better craftsmanship, will most likely last a lot longer, and you might not need a defouler with it. Most people with this header are not throwing Cel's. I am, but that's another story.

bleh forget the vibrant with hfc.. who needs a cat anyway.. the dcrh is half the price and provides better gains.. by the time the header goes bad if it ever does he will either have another car or will have something more serious that requires a larger diameter header anyway.. the dcrh has been proven to be the optimal size for our cars without FI.. as soon as u go SC or rediculous setup with cams ur gonna want the vibrant or buddy club header because of the thicker diameter. |

^^what are you talking about...its identical gains...besides dc is 2.25 vibrant is 2.5 meaning that it has more aftermarket compatibility with skunk 2 and greddy etc. etc.

Even X experienced this when he switched from the dcrh to the bcrh.. do some research before you start giving people false information. |

^^yo dude did you not read the current threads? x admitted the mistake was that his intake was tuned to only slight mods..the reason why it didnt work with bc headers was because he tuned his intake and used a stock exhaust, when he replaced it with bc headers he got another exhaust thus releasing more flow, which is why people are mad that his intake only allows for great gains with slight modification, making him release a version 2 for more modded cars..YOU do research
edit:sorry for that..its just that i just did 2 days straight of research just to get the right header..and i'm sorry i blasted on this topic...

but I am in the process of prototyping the V101 for X, the V1 didnt make "expected" gains on a more modified car, like mine, (no cams though)... so he has tuned out another maf dubbing it possibly the v101 to see what it turns out like... anyways i opted the dcrh because of the price vs. gains but if and when i boost ill definately change it out for the BCRH

Get the dcrh.
Then, go to autozone, get the HELP brand sparkplug defoulers p/n 42009, put one of the defoulers that comes in the pack (there are two of them) in a vise (not too tight or it will bend) and move up size by size with drillbits till you drill out the little hole in the end to a 1/2" hole. That is the defouler that gets the o2 sensor screwed into it and then screw that defouler into the untouched defouler and then plug that into the header bung. Any questions, pm me. |
