I love Vibrant Performance!

As the title says, I love Vibrant Performance. I have never dealt with a company like them. They are beyond anything that I have experienced in my life.

I ordered the Street Performance cat-back exhaust for my Si Sedan. When the system came, I looked over all the parts. The welds were beautiful and well done, the pipes were bent smoothly and the muffler and tip were polished and shiny.

Installation went very well as it was done by a professional installer. Everything hooked up nicely. The sound and performance were exactly what I had been looking for.

I did a thread in December about the installation and the evaluation of the system: Vibrant Cat-back exhaust installed today on my FA5!

The main reason that I am writing this is because of the personalized service that I have received from Donovan Griffith aka vibrantdon. Donovan is the Marketing/Public Relations Director for Vibrant.

Donovan PM'ed me to thank me for the positive reviews that I had given regarding my Vibrant cat-back exhaust. He asked for my phone number and then called me. He told me that he was going to send my some t-shirts, catalog and decals. He also did this for several other members here on the site.

I found out that Donovan is a real car guy. He has a G35 and a super hot Honda Civic hatchback. The best part is that he has become my friend. I have called him several times and have e-mailed him numerous times. He has always been extremely helpful and courteous.

I can't imagine me calling someone directly at a company that manufactures parts. I have a Stillen cat-back exhaust on my G35 and getting it was a real headache. To them, I was just another customer. No way would I be able to directly contact people there on a whim.

I seriously doubt that most people would be able to call people directly at Comptech, Skunk2 or Greddy and develop a relationship with a key person at those places. When I called Comptech, I got some surly guy who didn't seem very interested in helping me out.

If you want a top notch system for your Honda Civic with the greatest support from the factory, then go with Vibrant Performance. You will not be disappointed. BTW, in addition to their system for the 8th Gen Si Coupe, they now have a dedicated 8th Gen Si Sedan system. The systems can be purchased from a number of sponsors here on this site. I got mine for $490 at Corsport.

I am going to get the Vibrant race header with HFC soon to complement my cat-back system. Go with Vibrant Performance.

I TOTALLY agree with you Nitrous. I had the same experience with Donovan concerning my rh w/hfc. I haven't talked to him on the phone, or sent any e mails, but have sent many a pm back, and forth.

You're right. Nobody on this site (Webby included) would ever have this type experience with: Skunk 2, Comptech, GReddy, Eibach, or just about anybody else out there.

The commitment level is second to none, and I was personally blown away when vibrantdon sent me a pm out of the blue. I felt the same way as you Nitrous. They apparently understand how word of mouth works (unlike a few other companies who shall remain nameless). All of that of course is secondary to the level of craftmanship that goes into their products. My header was just like you described on your exhaust. Beautiful welds, well bent pipes, and perfect fitment.

Free swag is nice too. Don was even nice enough to hook me up with a XXL t shirt for those of us that are a little "big boned". Can't wait for it to show up in the mail.

Vibrant has made quality products for a long time, and they're always a pleasure to deal with. At trade shows they're always friendly and helpful.

The quality was really nice. I had two little dents in my resonator though. NOthing thats worth shipping back or anything you can barely see them. I cant wait to put the system on w/ BCRH.

Great to hear this kind of feedback. I was impressed byt he sound and performance of the Vibrant Catback and Vibrant RH w/ HFC at a local dyno day this past weekend and I plan on giving them my business. Its so nice to read something such as this, about there customer relations.

Thanks for posting!

Well, if they would like me to test their race header and give them feedback, I am able and willing. Gotta love free stuff. Best stuff in the world IMO.

Want their vibrant race header + HFC but $650 is steep. Guess I'll just wait until it gets cheaper... or get a DC and put a high flow cat on it.

I dont want to start a war, but in this game cheap is not better...quality parts last, and the reason they cost more, is they do what they are suppose to...

buy it once buy it right, is always cheaper in the end

customer service is really what the op is talking about, and to me vibrant and Donovan really shined. I appreciate being able to reach humans as computers really still frustrate me. Dealing with Vibrant was easy, and they really care about you being happy with your purchase. I'd much rather spend a few more bucks knowing that a stand up company was behind my purchase than skimp out trying to get a deal.

. Dont go cheaper just because it is and you can afford it, save until you go all out. Ive been waiting months to make this big buy of $4500 at corsport Feb 8th, not gonna list everything im getting now, but will when I make the thread . So wait and save, youll be more happy

exe, thats awesome, I agree thats the way to go....can I make one suggestion, and it is only from wisdom (learned the hardway), when you buy all these parts...install them one by one, it will honestly save you alot of headaches if something goes wrong...

Excellent advice. Doing things one at a time can not only save on the headaches if something goes wrong, but it also is the best way to measure the performance gain of each part being added.
