Aftermarket fans?

I have noticed a few sites selling aftermarket fans that are supposed to cool better than stock my question is, will these work with our cars? Is it worth it?

As long as the fan will mount up, almost any fan will work. To me, the stock fan seems sufficient. It sure feels like it's pushing a lot of air when it comes on (pop the hood after it's warmed up).

No need stock fans are fine and you don't want to overcool....That is why a Cooler thermostat is not suggested..

"It is very important to use the correct temperature thermostat in your cooling system, as the water temperature plays an important part in closed loop fueling operation.

Many people think that running a colder thermostat will keep their engine from over heating or that it will give some performance gain. This is incorrect and will just keep the engine from properly warming up. The engine should be between 185 and 200 degrees when fully warm"
