Skunk2 is coming out with composite fuel rails that are supposed to substantially lower the temperature of the fuel before it goes through your injectors. They claim a 3% HP gain.

^how hot could fuel possibly be? the warmest it would be is the ambient temperature outside....if anything the fuel rail will be hotter than the fuel.

Actually, wouldn't the fuel get hot while it is sitting in the fuel lines waiting to be injected into the engine? It takes some time for the fuel to go completely through the line in the engine to the combustion chamber, especially if your sitting at a red light. Don't know for sure, just speculating......

maybe, but its definatly going to be alot cooler than a fuel rail that is sitting on top of the engine.

The oem fuel rail has to heat it up. The s2 fuel rail minimizes the heat transferred to the fuel.

Anything that reduces temps is a plus. Alot of the things we do to our cars does very little, but does make small improvements. We're not working with v8's so we have to work with what we've got.
