What is the point of buying an exhaust to increase the flow of exhaust gasses and gain a couple of hp and then blow that all to hell buy putting a silencer in it? They sound terrible.

I don't know for the db level for sure, but Skunk2 anything is not sound level legal.

i just got my 70mm installed. i can see how you could be pulled over, but you would have to be at a stop and vtec first gear, its loud when you want it to scream, and its bubbly when you wanna chill.

well i have had mine on for about 8 months sk2 70mm.I think you would only get pulled over if u drive obnoxiously with it as in flooring it all the time in neighborhoods or small roads,etc.I always make sure I dnt see cops around b4 I hit Vtec.And there has been a few times a cop would be at the end of the road,but as soon I see them I shift to neutral and let it roll with sum bubbly sounds....lol

Ture. However, all jobs are based on performance. If you don't perform well, you will lose that job. So, if a cop didn't do much work the first half of the month, he/she needs to work extra hard the rest of the month to make it look like he/she is doing his/her job. Thats why more tickets are writen in the last half of a month which creates the quota myth.

dude thats pretty retarded if you ask me man but thats a sick picture! lol ya now with my BCRH my greddy ti-c screams at vtec and can see why u would get pulled over..is the 70mm skunk2 really that big of differece? cause at low rpm ther both just as loud but at high rpm urs is more high pitch..

ah the loudness..i miss it. Someone stated earlier on the thread if the Apex'i N1 is louder than the skunk2. Honestly i dont know me if video clips of the Skunk2 do me and justice. However ive heard them from far away, pretty noisey dont know if it was the 60 or 70mm. As for the Apex'i N1, my friend had it on his 01' ITR, and boy when that ITR screamed vtec that exhuast was making noise and rockin the car. As if a Roar that the engine was waitng to unleash.
