Question Has anyone here install the fujita air intakes or any other kind on their new civic?

Am looking to install the fujita intakes but know nothing about them and will like to know if is a good brand or if it will damage my engine in any form?

And is there any videos that show the way the car sounds just with intakes and nothing else? i dont like the car to be super loud and stuff, i just want a nice sound on the car, i have 2006 GG civic with MT.

Thanks for your help in advance

have u had an intake b4? there only load at like 4000 rpm i'd say. but they sound mean its amazing...sorry just wanted to say that
fujita is made by some people at injen, its supposed to be quality stuff plus it shows hp increase throught the whole rpm band and not just high rpms which is nice as well. it wont damage anything just look into it voiding warranty first and the possibility to hydrolock, just search and u'll see some threads

My Fujita CAI delivered this past Monday for my EX sedan. I will try to get around to installing it this weekend. Then I'll have some pics and what I think about 'em-

Fujita CAI is installed!

I drove it 13 miles down the highway and no CEL yet. Around 3500 rpms it has a neat resonance to it and then quiets down after 4k.

It's been storming here in Austin so I put the car away for the night. I'll have an update as the miles pile. :)

Thats great! I don't know if this is too much to ask, but I can imagine everyone else is thinking the same thing as me..........a couple videos of it would be awsome, like one from inside and one from outside the car so we can hear it, I know there is one on here somewhere, but I get sick of "just one".
thanks for the update anyways!

I recommend K&N over other brands, since they basically originated the air intake. I would check out thier system over some off-brand like fuijta.

We actually tested an si with the K&N over the weekend, and it was amazing.
There is one thing for sure, if you hit vTec can someone is next to you they might swirve a little due to the startling sound. Soon after, they give you a thumbs up :)

where did get your info from??? k&n is the most well known (due to crap advertisements directed at kids and old people) but definately not the originator of the cold air intake do some research racing companies have been producing dif. types of cold air intakes for YEARS long before k&n was around. And from experience if you plan on modding your car anymore after an intake go for one of the "off brands" you will be happier in spending less and getting the same results. Plus just a little known fact k&n's have caused many cars to have more problems. Several members of the srtforums have had k&n's grommet be sucked into the turbo and cause major failures. Just food for thought i've had two k&n cai's in my life and about 10-15 "off brands" and the off-brands have done the same if not better

sorry for the rant just research something before you make such a bold statement as that

I'd like to know (along with everybody else) how this thing is treating you. You've had a while to evaluate the intake, what do you think? *REVIEW PLEASE*

By the way, I like the torque curve on the dyno posted on Fujita's website. All above the stock base line.

just wait for the ebay knock offs... they work just as well and all you need to do is buy a nice aftermarket filter end. You will end up saving a lot more money and gain the same performance, intakes can only do so much without forced induction
