Taking out resonators

My boy has an e90 BMW, he just took out his mufflers and resonators for like 100 bucks instead of droppin 4gs on an exhaust. Do you think there would be a substantial difference atleast in sound if I take out ONLY the resonators? Thanks for all future responses.

it willl be a lil louder...take both out and it willmake a decent difference.

haha arite so a lil exaggerate on the cost lol, but bmw parts are a decent amount of money. i feel like itll be too loud if i take off muffler also. but i guess i cud.
