BTW this is with the resonator removed with the oem snorkel routing air to the box through the d/s fog light area.

maf was the oem one cut out the top of the box then sanded and painted.

btw guys this is a prototype if i were to build them for sale i would use a lot better parts. just made it as a basis for a srcai for the r18.

there is definitely some kind of gain. hesitation is gone.throttle response on the highway is about 100x better. sorry no money for a dyno. thanks for all the kind words. if anyone wants to dyno this for me please let me know i am dying to know how much this thing makes.

Nice work. I've thought about doing the same thing but hate to cut the airbox, and I don't know anything about the maf sensor.
btw, here's what I did to my '91 civic. I remember both the tubing and filter (yes, Auto Zone) being around $20 each

IMO...I think people would be interested in seeing a dyno before they would even consider buying.
