Hondata Reflash - THE EFFECTS

Ok, as of now i have a greddy evo2 exhaust system and a fujita sri. I'm planning on getting some dc race headers and a hondata reflash soon after. So my question is, once i get the reflash, what if theres some warning light, such as the srs airbag light or any other warning light? would dealers still be able to diagnose the problem with the reflashed ecu and fix it? I do realize that it does void my warranty, but that doesn't mean i won't still take it in for service when theres a warning light that needs to be tended to.

Thank you, and i've searched the threads but i've seen no mentioning of this.

Hondata doesnt give you a warning light.

Its your computer that gets reprogrammed, so you dont need to worry about nothing.

And yes, if you have a problem with something, they will fix it, and no your Hondata wont be changed by them, or effected.

so if i was to say, get a srs warning light would it still be serviced under warranty or would they void such things? this light indicates that the airbags won't go off if there is to be an accident

lol...he's being sarcastic what he means is its "dc race header" not "headers" not bashing on u or anything. but yeah hondata just reprograms ur ecu and lowers ur vtec range and makes the rev limiter hit 8600 rpms.

Is there any reason that Honda will reflash your ECU? For example, if you take your car in for a full tune up, will they reflash the ECU also?

ohhh opps my bad for misreading it but they shouldn't reflash it back. they'll probaly tune it to adjust with the ecu. u should talk to a honda dealership about it though but i'm pretty sure they'll tune it to adjust with the ecu well someone correct me if im wrong.
