How much louder dose it make it? I mean i have the Buddy club exhaust i thought it was loud at first..but now it got softer..unless i got used to it.. How much do you think it would make it louder, if i were to put that on..Just soft driven compared to driving hard..

edit-Also since it is removing the cat..There is no way i'll pass emissions right?

Personally, the addition of my BCRH on my car (already modded with a Comptech exhaust and Fujita SRI) didn't increase the exhaust sound all that much. Hardly noticeable in my opinion... Performance is very much increased though... Under normal, conservative driving it purrs like a little kitty...

My RH didnt really make my car THAT much louder, just gave it a deeper tone. At our last meet someone had a Skunk2 70mm Exhaust. and you couldn't hear my car over his. He was running CAI and Exhaust. I have SRI BCRH and EVO2. Dont worry about it being too loud.

Exactly; removing the cat will fail you. If you're concerned with emission testing, install a magnaflow hi-flow cat in place of the BC test pipe; Or I suggest moving to a different state. One of the closest states without emissions testing, is my home state of Wisconsin (FTMFW!).

Trust me, you'll be better off waiting a little bit to buy a BCRH then buying a cheapo DCRH now... I'll post a quote from www.buddyclub.us in regards to their RH for the FG2/FA5, Type-S, EP3 Civic and S2K...
"Same specification as the exhaust manifold on BUDDY CLUB #91 DC5 , with same design, material, quality and performance.
Our #91 DC5 was competing in ATCS super2000 division since 2005, it is the quickest DC5 in the competition and has won numerous trophies."

From what I've read, the Tanabe Touring Exhaust is actually a little bit less flowing than the stock exhaust... That's probably why its much quieter.
