K&N short ram. Most all short rams are louder because the intake is right next to the cabin where as the cold air is down near the ground.

Quick Question: Does adding one of these (Short Ram Intake or Cold Air Intake) go against the Factory warranty?

No, i have one and i still have my warranty. they can't void it unless the intake cause the problem. but there is no problem with them is safe. just stay away from AEM.

Mail your money to me. Your HP increase will be the same and you will maintain your warranty!

I think current aftermarket intakes only add maybe 1-2 hp if anything. Potentially under good conditions (like winter weather) they're make more hp than stock but during warm weather, heat soak (even on CAI) I think practically negates the higher flowing aftermarket intake. It'll be louder that's for sure, but personally if I had to do it again, I'd just get a K&N drop in filter, and stick to my BCRH and comptech exhaust and do the cheap IMG/TB spacer mods. Save your money and do exhaust and header upgrades first. (I don't know whats available for the fg1 though). If you don't really care about performance all that much and only sound then I'll definately vouch for the Fujita SRI. I think they actually make a Fujita CAI version for your fg1 so that might be better.
