If you count the threads you've started in the last month, the WHP you gain from those parts wont even come close

not to mention nothing but the sri and the exhaust would make more power anyway. the rest is just making the internals stronger.

why would they offer a package like that for a car w/ no EMS is beyond me... you can't possibly pull the true power from everything w/o tuning the car

Why do people think forged piston heads and rods automatically increase horsepower?

While lighter piston heads/rods and better rod bearings can free up hp, all it does is make your engine stronger.

Now if you're talking different style piston heads you can gain some power.

Pretty much nothing extra. The motor might last 300k miles or longer though.

Pretty much all those modifications just reinforce the motor from wear. If you wanted more performance, youd need to increase the displacement, lower the compression, etc.

The only parts on that list that could even get power at all would be Intake and Exhaust

If the Pistons increase compression ratio and you put in stiffer valve springs with cams that have a higher lift and more duration and polish that head, AND get something that can tune it, I'd agree with Batang's 285

forged pistons and all that other stuff is just to get your car ready for a turbo setup. then you can run full bosst pretty much.

the thing is, he said forged pistons, which means forced induction basically, theres no point in running forged pistons for NA. So im guessing either 9.5 or 8.5 to 1 compression, ideally of course. Which for the mods he listed, would LOWER hp.

I saw a build on an rsx-s and they gained 90hp with pistons and rods...not sure style piston or anything...But i would think that would free stuff up and just make the engine stronger

How would that make you gain more HP on a N/A motor?
