I was thinking, if the turbo guys are tunning their cars with the E-manage! then why dont we the N/A guys tune our cars with the same EMS????

I would personally rather wait for kpro. Good question though. I didn't look into that. I'd also rather have aem over greddy's crap. JMO.

I actually contacted HydraEMS (http://www.hydraems.com/) they have an ems for the rsx-s and are working on a way to control the dbw on the k20z1 so I figured it might applicable to our z3's but I have yet to receive an email back from them, its only been a few days so I guess I will wait and see.

it does sound great, but i personally would spend the $1700 for a EMS from a company that i have never heard off...

I dont really know, I have no personal experience. I typically find their ems in oddball cars, like k swapped mr2's. I am not holding my breath or anything and I really want something from hondata but I think it would make me feel better if I knew I have another option. I just fell like a hostage of hondata, I can't do anything with out them as of right now.

they have a very tight lipped policy, if they do release something we wont know until the actual release date. I have my hopes pinned on this years sema show but I am ready to have my feelings hurt.

I f'n hope not. Where'd you hear that from? Someone should be able to figure out how to use a kpro'd types ecu to control the motor and the si ecu to control everything else. Kinda like the swapped fit I saw before. I think it was hasport's, but I'm not sure.

What sucks is that we have to wait for ONE company to deliver a tuning solution!

What sucks worse is that the reflash that they are selling is $600, you have to send your ECU away for it and you can't revert it back to stock unless you send it back to THEM and pay them to revert it... We need a solution like COBB tuning or ECUTEK has for the subie community... HONDATA where are you on this!?

Yes very reputable... Hydra is one of the premier tuning solutions for the subie crowd... expensive though...
