Talking R18 NST pully Kit and AEM CAI

Hello Everyone, This is my first post so..... yeah.....Here is my thoughts on the two mods for people trying to decide if they should get the AEM CAI or NST Pullys........First Ill start off with the AEM CAI as this was my first mod-this mod seemed to help with acceleration a bit and makes the engine sound deeper and meaner........although i have read that the ingen intake is more aggressiive sounding and frees up more hp and tq... might buy the ingen to see which i like better.......as for the NST Pully kit........I stand behind this kit 100 percent....as it makes the car rev faster and got rid of the rough idle....... big smile on my face

No i do not have a dyno for these mods as i dont have a dyno machine and iam not paying to have it dyno when i can feel that the engine is having an easier time acceralating and feels less restrictive.

i ordered the pullies from non stop tuning.com and if i can remember i think they were 250. the only problem i had with the install was getting the crank bolt off, i used an impact wrench and even a bolt buster i finally gave up and took it to my honda dealer and they put it on for me... other wise it was pretty easy and this is coming from someone that is just starting out with messin with a car engine. yes iam a newbie at this stuff

its almost impossible to install the pulleys without the right tools. im also on the fence of getting nst pulleys and you stated that you brought it to honda dealer, were they cool about installing aftermarket pulleys for you?

the crank bolt is a real pain in the ass.

you need more than 180ft lbs. I basically used everything possible to get it off, and in the end i had to take a torch to the bolt, and then she came right out.
