hondata...and kpro

So I called them up out of the blue to see if they would say anything about a kpro for us. The guy I got said "we have no plans of developing that" When I pressed him harder, he said "we don't have plans for anything like that".
I think a bunch of people should start calling and bugging them.

I've talked to them, and their website states they don't plan it. Also on their forum, people have been bugging them about it, but still no plans. Also, they haven't said they don't know if they do decide to make one that they will give a discount on the people that already have Hondata.

I am guessing because of the electronic throttle or something of that nature. Or maybe it is simply more cost effective to only offer reflashes for our cars and not to put the money into developing the k-pro.

Hondata has been saying for months that they aren't developing Kpro for our cars. They have eluded to coming up with something for management for the car but it won't be any time soon. Plus, they don't disclose what they are doing until they are ready to release it.

This is what they state on the forum at www.hondata.com

This sucks, I want to be able to put in cams as soon as my 36K miles hits, and I'm already at 15K.

shucks, they're milking us out of our $$ We may have to pay the full price of the Kpro even if it does come out t('.'t) Crap =(

Guess I'll have to change my plans on mods... Comptech Icebox, Vibrant or Comptech Headers, and Mugen or Comptech Cat-back (wait another 6-12 months to see if any of the companies develop an actual tunning solution) =/

Don't feel bad. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to sometimes thinking " I should have gotten an STI" but I just hope and pray that something pops up for our car. Some good tuning. Hell, if I have to do a swap in a year I may just.
