Wait, you're saying you'd take the intake over the spacer? I'll be dynoing the spacer soon I think, if I have time. Granted, it will be slightly different conditions; different day.

NO ... i am not saying that ...

i'd rather have the spacer and gaskets with the stock box rather than have just the CAI ...

the CAI will probably make power on it's own ... but so did the spacer and gaskets ...

Aren't you turbo'd? Or was that your FG?

Anyway, you're saying they both make gains separately, but together they make the same gains, right?

they make gains separately ... together they don't do much without tuning ...
u can feel the addition of air in the system so u know u have more of what u want u just can't take advnatage of it ...

a race header would probably help a lot to free it up some ... that's speculation though ...

sicky i actually think that an exhuast would free it up, maybe those 2 mods with a bigger exhaust would do the trick

do you think there would be any more significant gain using a sri rather than a cai if installed with IMG and TBS? curious

So is anyone going to post another dyno or are there just going to be questions asked and theories posed?

I just got my INJEN CAI, it'll be my first engine mod. I'll be dyno'ing it before and after as soon as I get these exams out of the way.
I'll run stock, then install the CAI and run again.
I'm guessing I should reset the ECU and drive it around for a few minutes to allow it to adjust? Anyone really know for sure?

just put it on and let it idle for a few mins... then while on the dyno drive about a min... should reset after a run or two...
