which Skunk2? 60 or 70mm?

i already have a 60mm skunk2, but i was just wondering, if the 70mm gets you more power. i dont think i will go turbo. the most i will do is CAI, exhaust, race header, and reflash.

oops lol ya ur right. ive read it wrong thought i read 68 or 70.

the 70mm will get more power but wont be that much more noticeable to swap your current 60mm. id just spend that money somewhere else instead of doing the catback over. once you gets everything you want done, you would most likely be happy w the cars performance and prob wont switch. if not u will have more variety by then.

sorry about the confusion. its too hot to think

If you already have the 60mm just stick with it already.

Just buy other engine mods you don't have.

If you decided to switch, you could just sell the 60mm and get some money back. It's up to you. I would have just gotten the 70mm to start off with. Good luck.

the 70MM really wont do you much, if any good unless you are going FI or have a beastly all motor setup. Many times people lose power until almost the end of the tach.

60 shud be jus fine unless u in future state u going 4 FI. Nt much of a diff from simple stage 1 upgrade to use 70. Keep the moolah 4 other upgrades.

You're probably pretty accurate with the comment. I think it would kinda be a smart investment just to go with the 70mm b/c you never know, people change their minds alot. I know I do.

60mm.

70mm is too big to really see anything other than top end power, while losing power throughout most of your "usable" rpm range. Even with all the mods you listed, 60mm is appropriate. Skunk2 intended the 70mm for very aggressive all motor or forced induction applications. If you're not sure, call them and ask why they made two different versions.

Holy crap. I think you have to have the highest post count/rep/itrader of anyone in history and this car hasn't even been out that long either.

Btw, are there any dyno comparos of the two on a lightly modded fg w/ just basic boltons (same car and same boltons) so that people could get an idea? Just curious.

I agree, I had the 70mm and I ended up selling it, there was definitely a loss of power through the low and mid range.

I noticed entirely no loss what soever. On the other member's side, I've never dyno'd it.

honda06si, I agree with you, but would still love to see the dyno comparo.
