Anyone running electronic cutout?

on their stock exhaust?

Havent measured yet but anyone know off hand what stock 07 si sedan exh diameter is...

Im not supposed to mod the exh but figure ill just do a cutout and she'll never know..lol.

Noone that i know of 2 things it would lose alot of back pressure and it would probably sound like crap

exhaust is 2.25 and im think the axle back may be 2.5 no for sure. only time i race with open is from a roll bc it will hurt the lil bottom we have. it is very loud to bc i drove open header to the exhaust shop when i got that done. (stock header not dc)

Thanks man..

Decided to have my tech make a header for me... to bolt to stock cat.
aem SRI ordered.
Ill dyno base then with intake, then with I and Header, Then last I H and drop exhaust... Looking for no back pressure...

Backpressure, low end torque lost? Wrong!

Sound like crap? Right, but the Vtec switchover is a lot louder.
