Differences between 2dr HFP Muffler & 4Dr HFP Muffler?

When I traded my 06 si for my 07 Si Sedan, I have them take off the HFP muffler and put it on my new car. I know the parts numbers for the stock axlebacks are the same, but looking online, Ive noticed that the part numbers are different on the 4dr HFP vs. the 2dr HFP muffler. Anyone know the differences if any? Hopefully its just a way of Honda being able to track whos putting what on exactly what car.

yeah college hills honda just did a pod cast where they touched on this. they said that the coupe muffler fits on the 4door but they have different part numbers. so probably just honda being silly.

no its not.... the sedans body length is a bit longer than the coupe. the b pipe on the exhaust is extended roughly 2 inches to make it long enough to connect to the catalytic converter

we're talking about an axle back here not a catback... according to (n8ssi), his 2dr hfp fits on his FA5 4dr. HIs question is why does honda have two part #'s on HFP axle backs if they are the same thing ? Does anyone have that answer?!? Is this for Honda's tracking purpose ?

2 dr pt# 08F88-SVB-100
4 dr pt# 08F88-SNA-100

Will the 2dr hfp "axle-back" muffler fit the 4dr si? it sound like it does.
Any other inputs? because the 4dr part# cost more than the 2 dr when i tried to get quotes.
