Had my car on the dyno today.

Well went to columbus ohio today for the honda tech meet at slowmotionmotorsports and had my car dynoed on a dynapack and here is the results,

Mods:
Injen cai
Dcrh
SKunk2 70mm
Hondata reflash

I went 3 pulls and keep getting higher each pull, my last pull was,
whp=218
wtq=161

And i was making power all the way up to 8400rpm.

Plus 8thcivic jbones1.8 was also there and had his car dynoed with same mods but he has the dc exhaust and he did,
whp=212
wtq=? forgot

hmmmm.....possibly.....

Im not sure, but it is the best numbers i have seen so far.
Plus i bought the hondata img when i was there so maybe that will give me a couple more pony's.

And i have the dyno sheet if no one trusts me, I just dont have a scanner, but can get it up on here through my girls work.

It just looks high because we are used to dynojets, dynapacks generally read much higher....on a dynojet he probably would have put down 200/150

Can someone give me the difference in my dyno and other types of dyno's?I dont understand how people will run a certain number on one and then another number on another......A dyno is a dyno in my eyes

Just go to the track with those number you should have a trap speed of ~102+ and at least 13.8s easily.

Anyway the fact is that you have more power than before and that is the most important thing.

The difference about the difference types of dynos had been discussed so many times use the search there are a lot of topics about it.

dynos are for measring the variations to the modification mades not actual power output. simply said. Dyn Packs will read higher because their is less rotating mass for power loss since its coupled directly to the drive train. Honestly we almost purchased one but they are notorious for breaking drivetrains on higher HP cars

unless he has slicks i doubt he will run in the 13's hell prolly hit 14 flat or a little above...

i mean, the ajp car ran what 11.9? and they have a million more horses (exaggeration)

but yeah, with slicks and a diet hell def grab 13's

shark was saying that if he had 218 whp (from a dynojet)then he should be in the 13's easily
