Anyone have this intake?

Anyone have any info on this or can vouch for it, just curious?

http://www.knfilters.com/universal/apollo.htm
The K&N Apollo CIS (Cold Intake System) is a universal cold air intake system incorporating a washable/reusable K&N High-Flow Air Filter. The Apollo’s specially designed shape increases volumetric efficiency and provides the benefits of an open cone filter and standard air box in one unit. Heat build up is reduced which keeps the intake charge cool. Smooth internal features minimize air turbulence and maximize air flow.

The Apollo has a 70mm base flange. It is supplied with a flexi cold air hose and a pack of vent adaptors to incorporate most engine breathers and temperature sensors from the original air box assembly back into the Apollo (Vent sizes ¼” OD, 3/8” OD, ½” OD, 5/8” OD and a blanking plug if a vent adaptor is not required are included). Additional accessories include a range of stepped adaptors from 70mm – 70mm (part 85-6002), 70mm - 60mm (part 85-6003), and 70mm - 80mm (part 85-6001). A saddle bracket kit (part 85-6004) for easy mounting to your vehicle is also available.

The Apollo is ideal for normally aspired engines up to 250BHP and turbo engines up to 350BHP. It allows for updating your intake system while retaining a closed environment.

K&N Apollo CIS (Cold Air Intake System) Universal Induction Kit

* Outside shell reduces heat build-up allowing cooler air to your engine, resulting in improved efficiency & increased power gains
* Designed to increase horsepower and acceleration
* Contains a K&N washable and reusable K&N air filter.
* Ideal for normally aspired engines up to 250BHP and turbo engines up to 350BHP

the oem MAF sensor location is molded into the air box where it meets the stock hose...and that k&n intake removes the air box...

it wont fit.
EDIT: stole this pic from a DIY ...

so your going to buy a SRI and this "universal" intake to basically have a bendable CAI...

just buy a CAI from the begining and save yourself the trouble

+1

Save yourself some money and the headache, and just go with a modified stock airbox with a K&N drop in filter.
