Hondata

Thanks to Dawn's (atruhondagrl) post about Hondata and hearing her car, I too sent off my ECU today. My question is, did anyone order their reflash from clubrsx? And if so, on your paperwork did it say K20A2 by the engine type even though the top of the paperwork says 06+ civic?

i think you are fine.... i sent mine through clubrsx a few months ago. If you ordered straight from them and selected the "06 Civic Si reflash" and they sent the paper work through your email, you should be fine. No worries.

You will love the reflash. Feels like a new car!

Awesome. Yeah I finally got through to clubrsx and they said hondata only looks at the part number not the engine code on their sheet. I feel way better.

Yeah I met atruhondagrl the other day and just the way her car sounded was enough to make me buy it. I had been debating it for a while and after reading her review and sickyute's from last year, I was like "f**k it" and decided it had to be done. I sent it off today, should be back by Wednesday. I figure when or if they do finally release K-Pro that it will only be an additional $500 or so to upgrade. After that I plan on getting the HFP suspension and some lighter wheels and stickier tires. That should be done within a a month or so I am hoping.

with mods, the reflash is the way to go until further tuning options are made available. You maximize the power and expand the vtec window. especially with all the mods you have WhiteSicivic06, you will definitely feel the difference.

with only 1 or 2 mods, like only an intake or catback, the reflash will not be as noticeable.

Anubis I have the exact same set up as you do except I have the Injen CAI instead of a SRI. If you ever want to meet in Providence Forge or something, I'd be happy to take you for a drive.

I sent mine to Hondata today also. Thats pretty wild. They should be receiving 3 si computers tomorrow to reflash. I did the self shipping method. Cost me $65.00 to over night it. Looking foward to the gains.

Haha, it was actually 4 I think. Me, xcellr8n, ABSOLUTE-SI, and hondaonchrome. The east coast is apparently decided we all need hondata the same day.

We don't have K-Pro......if you add a S/C, yes you will need another reflash
