So to get to that 200 mark one would need intake, full exhaust, hondata reflash and what else??

if by full exhaust you mean race header + cat back exhaust... then yeah... that should be real close to 200whp depending on the type of dyno, condition and environment of the surroundings.

200whp is my goal right now. I have a 2-part initial plan:

Part 1:
Injen CAI
Tanabe Medalion Touring cat-back exhaust
Hondata Reflash
Hondata IMG
Non-stop Tuning pulleys

Part 2: (just some little "helper" items)
Sun Hyper Ground kit
Sun Hyper Voltage kit
T1R fuel ionizer v2
Throttle body spacer
Samco silicone radiator hoses

Ideally I would also like to get the Random Tech high-flow cat, but I live in CA, so I'm wobbling on that one for now. And then DME is supposedly coming out with a shorty header that interests me, but I would want to see dyno numbers first.

Hopefully phase 1 will be implemented within the next couple of months (if the wife lets me!!)

Brian

Currently I have the Fujita SRI, 70mm skunk 2 and the random tech cat(being delivered by UPS as I type) Im pretty sure I'd need to get the hondata reflash to approach 200....I am running the stock shorty (to stay emissions legal)

As far as I know, non-stock cat = illegal...its just a matter of whether they notice it or not.

After market catalyic converters are only illegal if installed on OBD2 ('94+) vehicles in California. I'm pretty sure it's legal in other states.

Quoted from Random Technology's website

Please note that it is illegal to remove a properly functioning catalytic converter and that aftermarket catalytic converters are not legal for installation in California on OBD II vehicles (some 1994 & 1995, and all 1996 and later vehicles).

IIRC, replacing a perfectly good-working cat is illegal, having an aftermarket installed is not.

I've never heard any incidents with this, but I can imagine it would be pretty hard for the authorities to prove you didn't need a new cat-converter. Especially if your old one is sitting in your garage with a 'hole' in it.

edit: ok cali is different

I won't be joining this competition until some kind of real engine management is available. Currently putting down around 198-201 HP with CAI+Exhaust in coolish weather, depending on ambient temperature +/- 7-10whp.

i'm over 200whp right now. my last dyno was just with intake and exhaust for 195whp and 144wtq then i installed my header so i am definately over 200whp trying to get redynoed at the same place, but last time i went there their dynojet was acting up and not giving realistic readings.
