Mine was originally on gas..i got kinda annoyed with the 9999mpg thing..then i changed it to hybrid..now in hybrid it seems like the mpg is slightly off due to the fact that our cars shut off fuel going to the motor...i changed it back to gas and now the instant mpg is still reading in the 100-200 range..
i think i might just return everything to default and start over

Hybrid is for those folks who:

Have a hybrid.
Or shut off their engine while driving. Think of it as a manual hybrid where the electric motor (starter) isn't particularly useful. (Well, it starts the engine, but other than that....)

It'll get the fuel used as zero *and* count the mileage while the engine is off.

Thats a nice one. GF's dad has it and he really likes it.

my Scangauge wire is still just sitting on the cubbie hole.
I plan to drill a small hole above the little pocket (below the climate controles)
Then velcro the main unit there.

I've had one since they newer one first came out, i've had it in a few vehicles and now I've had the lx for 2 days and I have it hooked up, but sitting in the cup holder, I'm having a horrible time figuring out where to mount it

Found this on the FJ Cruiser forums, out side of the center pocket install this might be interesting.

Idk that looks so weird!!!!!

plus you would have a hard time changing the dials while driving. I'll have to take a pic of my mount tonight - I really like where it is. Easy to see and use.

Um, is this normalÉ I come back sometimes to find my unit is on in the car even though it turned off earlier. Iève only noticed this today.

When you come back to it, does it say "Connecting..." ?
As soon as I press the unlock door on the remote, the SGII powers up and starts Connecting.

Maybe thats what you're seeing?

yeah i was wondering if its the door lock - actually it tells me that im using fuel or something - the LPH (litres per hour) goes up - must be an error caused by unlocking the door

i start on the gauge screen and havent seen connecting when i power up except for the first time i set it up.

That looks great! I (literally) just got mine in the mail, and have diagnosed the CEL I've had for a few days now. Once I learn everything about it, it'll be even better. I do have the basics down though

I may have to bite your setup though Gundam
