What code is it to make one of the x gauges hp? I read the manual but didn't see that in there.

The live gas mileage is strange. Accelerating I get like 9 mpg, coasting I get 9999, haha, and cruising I get about 40. It's strange that it averages out to about 32.
if you go into the option SETUP and change the motor from GAS to HYBRID(even if you don't have a hybrid) it'll correct that problem of going to 9999 and 0.00gph.

The 2006+ Civics do not use a fuel return line. The stock system is returnless and has the fuel pressure regulator integrated into the in tank assembly.

How do I do the fill up properly?
I can't figure it out.

Also is there an option to increase the correction by liters.... 0.01 liters?
It's a PITA when it thinks you did 5l and you filled up 16.. u gotta adjust it 0.01 at a time.

I've had my SGII for some time. I think I must have an 'older' version with different firmware. Some folks seem to have features (like HP) that I don't have on mine. Hmmm...might be time to get a new one and move this one into my wife's EOS.

but in reality you would be at a high number as far as mpg goes..but not 9999..b/c you are not able to maintain that speed not using gas

once reseting mine the highest it has shown was like 230mpg..but as the car continues to slow the numbers gradually drop.

Well it should read 9999 MPG tho. Think about it, your covering miles and using 0 gas. You cant express MPG technically. A # cant be given so it just reads the highest # possible. It doesn't actually calculate your trips as your getting 9999 MPG tho. Its the same when ppl say you get 0 MPG when you idle. You cant express miles per gallon if either value isn't present, miles or gallons.

Its reading 230 MPG cause its still reporting fuel usage. When you engine brake the SG2 should read 0.0 GPH. $5 says that when you engine brake and get 230 MPG it reads 0.4ish GPH, still reporting fuel usage even tho there is no fuel being used.

I would have to look but it does report some fuel usage when just letting off the gas.

How could it not be using ANY gas but yet the motor is still turning?
I could understand if the motor was being turned over by the tires through the transmission with the motor off...
But with the motor still running(power is available) I don't see how it could run without fuel.

Cause when you engine brake the momentum of the car keeps the engine turning. The computer knows this and cuts fuel.

Did you set the tank size correctly? It shouldn't be off by that much once its setup properly. Mines rarely off by more than 0.1-0.2 gallons per tank.

Yep, once i get under around 1500 or 2000 it starts reading around 200-250 mpg. but anything above that it reads at 9999 mpg.

Now what bugs me is that when I push the pedal all the way to the ground and I'm at WOT, the MPG reads 9999 and my HP reads 0.0

It's really strange. If I accelerate slowly, it'll keep up with both the HP and MPG. the highest HP rating I've gotten is 135 (R18 auto)

anybody else have this issue?

I can understand cutting fuel..but it would seem to me that the motor will not have power available if it is not getting gas sprayed into it.
It would make sense if the gas usage went to the same level as the motor being at idle..but not 0.00gph..
I am not saying you are wrong or that I am right...just that it doesn't make sense to me at least
