when I went to fuel econ - it tells me that I only have 180 kms left on a full tank!!
that I know is completely wrong. Even on full city/winter/vtecing I still get 400km

plus my fuel being used has risen to more like 12L/hr instead of 1-2 as it usually is.

**** what should I do?

I want to fix the HP gauge too - mine is ridiculous
haha, my Si got 260HP according to my SGII haha :P All I have is an Injen CAI!!! w00t! The HP thing is entertaining at best. I actually just like the SGII for its trip info, and code scanning to be honest.

my only gripe w/the SGII is the fuel remaining isn't on the money...

i have my tank set to 13 gal..and ran out of fuel with .4 gal remaining...so in theory i should have had .6 gal remaining...

but i supposed knowing it was that low i could've just gone and got fuel b4 letting it get down that low...at least now i know..

and i can't really blame the company b/c it does say not to use it as a fuel gauge..

just passing along some info

Yea thats weird it would be off like that. Maybe its the civic? How much is it off at fill ups? Cause the highest i'v ever gotten on a tank was a 12 gallon fill.

Funny side story, this sorta happened in my aurora. It had like a 19 gallon tank and it said i used like 17.5 gallons so i was like ok, i'm fine. NOT, ran out of gas on the way to a pizza delivery to a high school in the rain. That sucked. I had to run like a 1/2 mile in the freezing rain.

Ouch. So you ran 1/2 mile, with hot pizza, in the freezing rain?
How much tip did you get for that "Special delivery"?

the SGII is correct at every fill up..if i pump 10.4 gal it'll read 10.4...i never have to adjust it...

this was my biggest tank was that tank..i bought a 1 gal gas can..filled it up with .97__ gal of gas..walked 2 miles back the car on the side of the interstate...put in the gas...drove those 2 miles..filled up with 12.0___...

so where that other .2 was i don't know...but i'm pretty sure i didn't use it in 2 miles of driving.

Tip? pssssh it was to a school, i left the pizza in my car. For some reason teachers and associates where i deliver think that since they can "bill" the pizza to the school and dont give me cash $$ then they dont have to tip... There are a couple of ppl i know off hand that do tip very well at some schools but its rare.

Thank god the store hooks me up w/ $3 every time a school doesn't tip.

As far as the SGII, thats really weird. Maybe its one of those technical things, ya know, like "technically" you can fit 13.2 gallons in there but it just don't happen at the pump.

Mine is usually pretty close. I only every adjust by a couple tenths of a gallon at each fillup. I usually fill up at 2 bars left newayz. No need to push it

I'll have to fillup one of these days and test it out again - traffic going home has just been insane though so I haven't had the time.

This is a cool little device. I mainly just use it to see my intake temps and to diagnose DTC's or clear em.

success!

it did its random self-correction thingy today.

no more vtec or or 'sailing' problems - when I coast I use gas, not wind

the unit is so much fun now that everything is finally working well - i like seeing 550kms left instead of 200 or 120 after a 1/4 tank
