thats actually where I ended up mounting mine, but I took the panel out of the top of that little compartment and drilled a hole in it and ran the cord through that so you cant see it at all.

look under the steering wheel to the right where your right knee would go.
you really have to duck down there though.

Hey when you guys sent your scanguage II in for an upgrade how long did it take for them to get back to you? or at least contact you about your unit. I sent it in and arrived at their place last friday. And I was just curious how long it takes before they would contact you about receiving it.

Anybody who's thrown a CEL: Is the Scangauge supposed to be able to clear the CEL light from the dash?

The hp gauge really isn't that acurate. Of course, where I have mine mounted, I can't really afford to glance down at it while I'm at WOT, turning 8k rpm's

^^ Turn the updating to slow. Then it'll stick around long enough for you to glance at it.

Any of you have the P2R TB spacer?

After installing this and resetting the ECU, i seem to be getting 18.6 MPG at WOT, compared to 6mpg before.

I know the new reading isn't right purely from working it out from a full tank of gas

HP is definately not right - I showed 222hp yesterday on my stock R18!

Anyways I think I'm having other issues with it now

I did a fillup and it thought I put in 21L so I corrected to 43L (which it says was many % off), I clicked save and then the errors started happeneing.

when I went to fuel econ - it tells me that I only have 180 kms left on a full tank!!
that I know is completely wrong. Even on full city/winter/vtecing I still get 400km

plus my fuel being used has risen to more like 12L/hr instead of 1-2 as it usually is.

**** what should I do?

I want to fix the HP gauge too - mine is ridiculous

Try:

Fill up tank. Park car by gas station and load the SG2 defaults.
then set up the engine size, custom settings and what not. then drive off.
In about 100km's fill up to full tank and the more> fillup option should get it right (mine was off by .2 liters)

then fill up again in 100km's to check accuracy. mine got it right that time.
as for the HP, i thought it was cool but never thought it was all that accurate.
not sure about 222hp but you sure you don't have a K20?

This is where I mounted mine.

I hate to ask again, but isn't the Scangauge supposed to clear the CEL from the dashboard? I thought it was.
