Is Anyone Running Dcrh&Skunk270mm Exhaust??

I have an 06 si and i installed the dcrh to my skunk2 70mm exhaust and i am having a problem with my header coming up and rubbing the bottom of the car.So i emailed (wesellcarparts.com)who i bought the header from and they directed me to AEM(maker of dc sport)And told aem of the problem and they are telling me its because i am not using there exhaust! Is this true????

I am very pissed so far because i told aem that other people are running the dcrh with different types of exhaust and having no problems and aem told me that people on this site are LIEING and not to listen to 8thcivic.com and just get rid of my skunk2 and buy there dc exhaust.

So my ? is is anyone having a problem running the dcrh??????

I want to call back and talk to a supervisor or manager of aem about my situation but i want to get some opinions first so please help me out people.

Thanks,
Lonny.

I know there is one guy from PA who is running that set up. Can't remember what's his user Id on here though..

All I remember is that he has a TW Si with hfp kit and 2.0 badge and is friends with the guy with Ryan from PA with the HABI FG2 w/ Retrofits.

You get what you pay for imo.
Anyways. Are you sure that's what's hitting? Did you hear anything with just the exhaust? My 70mm s2 exhaust rubs a little in the back where the fitment is tight due to it's size.

Yea im sure it is the header,I swear the header is to short,Because when i installed the header i had to actually stretch the header just to reach the exhaust so i could bolt them together.I had to hang the header on the two studs on the motor and then put the two nuts on just enough to hold the header up and then get back under the car and pull the header back to the exhaust to put them together. So what is happening is when the motor rocks in reverse it is pulling the header up into the bottom of the car,I might be able to get away from this by doing maybe the motor mount inserts to stiffing up the motor but i shouldnt have to do this.

Thanks....

If you do the install yourself can you take a couple pictures of the header gap between the header and the exhaust before you bolt the two together so i can get an idea what the length distance is on yours, plus so i can maybe show the people at aem your picture and mine so that they can see that i do have a problem and maybe they will do something about it for me.

sure can. thats weird, mayber your flex pipe is shorter than most. i have it bolted up to the stock exhast and it fit just perfect, or maybe your skunk2 is defective. could be one or the other. but I will keep you updated.

the header has to be shorter then. cause my header bolted right up to the stock exhaust. I'll take pics and measure the lenght of the flex pipe when i get the exhaust.
