K&N drop in filter

I was just wondering, is it worth it getting a K&N drop in filter. I was reading about how it filters your car. People say that their filttering isn't as good as paper filter is that true? that K&N drop in filter can cause more harm to your engine than OEM paper air filter? Thanks

There will always be a trade-off between filtering and flow. Personally I think the small gains seen in CAI's or SRI's is strictly from the lower restriction filter.

It's fine for your car. They are oiled filters so it helps too.

Unless you are planning on keeping the car for 150K miles just use the K&N.
