did you do this so you can sell the car later on or for warranty issues.

also i only have a catback, all the rest of the exhaust is stock, your saying theres no room to put the y

Both things, warranty and selling.

Maybe near the gas tank it could be a way to fit it. But before the gas tank there is no space to install the Y.

I'm with you on this. I spent an entire afternoon trying to find a place to put the Y-pipe that came with my QTC cutout. I don't know about your DMH, but the 3 bolt flange on my Y-pipe puts the gearmotor at angles that keep it from fitting anywhere. We just don't have the ground and frame clearance of the American V8's that these were intended for.

I'm also with you on the keeping your stock parts. Too many people sell their stock stuff. Good luck selling your car with all the junk we bolt on to anyone but people from the forums. I'm planning on hacking up my Vibrant catback AND my stock midpipe, but I'm going to buy a new midpipe ($110-150) from the dealership so that I can go back stock. I'd rather spend the $150 on a backup midpipe than risk farking up a $350 (damn near impossible to install) header.

198whp is pretty nice , but do you happen to have a baseline? with i/h/e 18-25whp is gained , so if you get less gain with i/h/ e cutoff , i don't think it's worth the noise. I'm planning to do this e cutoff too , but i'm expecting more from it.

I do have a baseline but wasn't on the same dyno shop of the last that I did the runs for the cutout. To know what I have now I need to go to that first time dyno and do the runs with the cutout. Then I will know how much I gain from stock. But I bet that total amount is something like 24-30whp. Not bad for $1,200 of total investment (including labor).

Both dynos were Dynojetss but one reads ~10whp less than the other one.
Like 5% of difference between both shops.

i made 182whp with just the exhaust , made 207 with I/h/e , if i can squeez more power from the ecut off like 5-8 whp , i'll definitly do it.
