Making the switch to Mobil 1 Synthetic !

I just picked up a case of mobil 1 synthetic and i plan on using it my next oil change i am at 11,400 miles as of right now. I have a few questions -

1.Will i really feel a difference with this oil ?

2.Will the honda oil filter work with this oil or do i need a mobil 1 filter ?

3.I changed my oil 1st at 4,500 miles then every 3,500 miles after that with synthetic should i continue every 3,500 miles or is that a waste of money because it will last much longer ?

change your oil at regular intervals (3000) you can use the stock filter and no mobil 1 does not give you more horsepower.

i swear by mobile 1, you definately get what u pay for! oil filter wont really matter, just dont use a K&N oil filter, for some reason my car was throwing codes cuz of it. will u notice a diff? probably not. as far as when to change it, id go off ur maintanace reminder on ur dash. just reset with each oil change!

i've been rp ever since my 3000 miles oil change. I just bought a case of mobil one cause it's cheaper and everyone says you can't go wrong with it. O well.
this is for my next oil change btw, 10,500.

expensive as hell, but independant testing has proven royal purple to actually be better than it! iirc, mobile 1 and pennzoil full synthetic was better than it too!

A lot of member here have claimed that their cars feel smoother, but since its the same weight as the regular dino I doubt that. But the oil that comes in the Cars to begin with is a special formula to help break it in, maybe it has something to do with that.

Either way, the main diff with Mobile 1 is that it won't break down as fast (but will get dirty just as fast) and is said to have smaller tolerances. I believe that it will help you engine last longer, and will help it resist wear. However, most likely all the parts on your engine will wear out before Synthetic gets a chance to show its advantages.

I still use it though. I figure it takes about $300 to drive 3,000 miles, might as well put in an extra $10 for quality oil.

For oil filter, use a genuine HONDA S2000 oil filter. i got the dealer to put the s2000 filter on my Si with 5w30 Mobil 1, and the engine feels smoother and better tamed at high revs. I think its a cheap and worthwhile upgrade to an awesome engine.

I;m a big fan of PureOne filters by Purolator. Mobile 1 Synthetic resist shearing forces better than regular oil, promotes easier start up, more uniform than conventional for tight tolerance motors...Blah blah blah.
