mufflers

I'm looking at the parts catalog, and it seems the EX muffler will bolt to an SI and a SI muffler will bolt to the EX. I know the Honda part numbers are different though. Does anyone have an SI muffler hanging around or for sale for me to try?

As of now, I'm looking to get my downpipe replaced along with the b-pipe and having it custom welded to an apexi WS muffler fitted for an SI if possible.

I guess, its somewhat of a two part question though.

I'm asking in here if anyone has done it. If no one has, i'm asking if anyone has an Si muffler for me to borrow to test fit it. If it works, I may purchase it. I think its okay being here for now.

Looking at the images, they look identical. The honda part numbers are different which means the Si muffler probably is a bit bigger in piping diameter and muffler size. However, since its the same civic body, the muffler probably mounts to the hangers the same way. So all is left is seeing if the pipe will bolt up
