NST Pulley Update!!!

I ordered a set of pulleys (the crank and alternator since they are the only ones currently available for the K20) about 2 weeks ago so I sent NST a message today to check the status of my order. I also sent them a message asking about what belt would be necessary for the pulleys and they told me that I would be able to use the OEM belt. This is what I got today:

We have been working on a few kits, one of them for your invoice. We have also been working on a few new things for the K20. One of these is an all new NST idler pulley that is to be added to our current Crank and Alternator Pulley kit. This new idler will allow you to use your OEM belt!

We plan to include one of these new Idler pulleys in your kit, at no extra charge to you, if you think you can hang on a few more weeks.

SWEET A FREE PULLEY! Just thought I would share.

AEM SRI, Custom Axle-back exhaust, TWM SS with base bushings, and most recently custom shift boot yea baby!

I want to go to a local exhaust shop and get the mid-pipe section in 2.5" to actually free up a couple ponies rather than just making her sound mean.

Any NST R18 love?

Hmm, I wonder if they'll have anything like this out for the R18?

They already make a kit for the R18, it includes the crank, alternator, and water pump pulleys. The kit is $50 less than buying each one individually and they actually have those in stock, rather than the K20 which are special order only o well, it's worth the wait.

check it out:

Look for Mike on AIM: NSTonAIM. He says people who order the crank pulley and alternator pulley for the K20 will get idler pulleys as well.

I just installed Trillian and chatted with him for a little while. Great guy. He made the same offer to me. Looks like a pretty damn good deal to me!

Maybe we should approach him for a Group Purchase similar to the one that is going on with the UR Pullies. They charge 200.00 including shipping for 10 or more orders. Could you check with him if he would be able to do a similar price?

We are still hammering out the details on the idler pulley.I'm in the middle of R&D of the idler for NST. NST came up with the idea of the idler to eliminate the need for a shorter belt and to be able to use the stock belt. NST is going to send out the idler pulley to the currant owners of the crank and Alt pulleys for free all future customers will get a pulley kit which the price has not been decided yet. I will keep everybody updated.
