Well I am running a 600 watt amp and am getting dimming of the headlights at night with the stock alternator pulley and a capacitor! So I need the overdrive pulley, and not to sound like a girl or anything, but my car is RR and I got the red AEM SRI and wanted to get the red NST pulley set and then paint my valve cover red to do a red theme.

There is nothing wrong with you wanting a red or a blue or any other color pulley kit or intake. If all companies cared about was making one color so they could have an easier time with stocking things, then all car companies would be making black cars circa Ford in the 1920s.

Pullies wont work with your Supercharger. The smaller Crank Pulley will underdrive your Supercharger and you would actually loose Horsepower.
Defeats the purpose of your Supercharger. On a Turbo it doesn't matter since it doesn't run on belts and pulley's

Actually you can use this on S/C.You just run a differant compressor pulley to offset the size differance.NST does this on S/C scions from time to time.

You still wont get much of a gain from doing that. So you are using a smaller pulley on the crank and compansate with an even smaller pulley on the Supercharger. They only make them so small I personally wouldn't do pulley's if I had a Supercharger there is no real gain to be had.
Just possible problems with belt size and possible slipage.

I think you are confusing your decades. I know for a fact that in the 20's they came at least in a dark Gray version as well as Black

OK let's get something straight about the superchargers. A supercharger is driven by a belt and spins according to the size of two pulleys, the crank pulley and the supercharger pulley. Changing the size of either one of these pulleys can change the amount of boost. Using an underdrive pulley will lead to less boost from the supercharger.

People with a supercharger setup have some options. Talk to Mike at NST and he can help you out. You can get them to build you a stock sized crank pulley to keep your supercharger spinning just like stock. You can also get them to build you a sc pulley to make more boost from your sc. All up to you.

Mike says you guys should feel free to chat with him on AIM and ask him any questions you might have. NSTonAIM is the screen name.

^^ yeah what he said. My earlier post I meant only for the people that have pulleys and go with a S/C NST can make a pulley to offset the crank size to make the same boost. Best way is to run the lighter pulleys with the stock crank pulley size. The S/C takes power to make power. But If you free up the parasitic drag needed to turn the accessories you can gain back part of the lost turning the charger, which = HP.
